Donyall Dickey serves as founder and CEO of Educational Epiphany in Washington, DC, and delivers curriculum design support to school districts across more than 40 states and to a growing number of international educational partners. His team audits and assesses districtwide performance and designs actionable improvement plans. Donyall Dickey manages the efforts of a diverse cohort of curriculum designers and writers, digital content creators, editors, professional development executives, and even children’s book authors.

Mr. Dickey’s leadership background extends to performance-driven oversight of public school districts. As the School District of Philadelphia’s chief academic officer, he provided site-based faculty and administrators with dedicated support in implementing academic initiatives, including those that ensured compliance with Common Core State Standards. He also co-developed and implemented a Professional Development Plan districtwide and worked with assistant superintendents and deputy chiefs in delivering capacity-expanding professional learning experiences.

Donyall Dickey started his career in the late 1990s as a teacher and team leader within the Baltimore City Public Schools. He coordinated magnet programs and taught English literature at Randallstown Senior High School, while overseeing efforts that boosted student achievement on SATs. He subsequently served as principal of Pimlico Middle School and achieved major school system gains on state-mandated assessments.
